Description: Peloponnese wine growing areas.
Nemea is a Greek winemaking zone, the borders of which cover territories in two areas of the Peloponnese peninsula at once: Corinthia and Argolis. Homer also appreciated the wines of the Nemea area, where the ancient traditions of winemaking are still observed. High-quality red wines of the Peloponnese with deep color, velvety taste and complex aromas are produced here under the Nemea brand.
Mantinea - among the varieties of Mantinea, Moskhofilero dominates - a grape that fills the wine with freshness and elasticity. It has been cultivated here for centuries, and the wine goes well with seafood.
Patras - Roditis is the base variety in this area, from which excellent white wines are made - dry, fresh and very elegant. High quality dessert wines are produced in the Achaia region.
Laconia. Laconia is known not only for Sparta. Only in this area are the Kidonitsa grapes cultivated, from which fresh white wines with a quince aroma are obtained.
